PDF Filer III V

PDF Filer III V is a program that is designed to easily and efficiently file scanned images from a copier. It is based on the concept that businesses have clients, each client may have one or many matters or projects and that each matter has similar documents.

For instance a Personal Injury Attorney will have many clients, these clients may have one or more matters and each matter has many similar documents.

What PDF Filer III V does is monitor a folder for scanned images from the copier, when one arrives it informs the user and then provides a method to quickly name these files and place them in a file folder hierarchy. Once they are saved a user can browse to them or use the search engine that comes with PDF Filer.

PDF Filer III V also allows a user to quickly add an open PDF document from another source to this logical file folder hierarchy by activating it with a Hot Key.

When a file is added it will be time stamped with a bookmark showing the time of entry and if an existing file already exists the file can be replaced, or appended. When appending the user sets a rule as to place the new pages at the beginning or end of the file.

Important: This program builds a file folder Hierarcy, because of this any characters that cannot be used in a file name or path cannot be used in this program. In addition to this the "-" Dash, "~" Tilda and "_" Underscore Should not be used.
