Scanning a File

Click on "Scan File".

Confirm that the correct client's file is open - if it is not go to the correct client's file. Click on "Yes".

Select the document type from the drop down list. (if allow document type additions is allowed a box to enter a document type will be displayed as shown above.)
Click on "Continue".

If the document already exists a message will appear asking to Continue, which will append the new pages to the existing file or Exit which will Exit the scanning option.
Click on "Continue" to add the pages.

and the scanner's interface will appear. (shown here is a Fujitsu Interface). Click on Scan to activate the scanner and close when finished scanning.

A message will appear asking to release the files. Click on yes if they went through without and misfeeds or no and then rescan.

A message will appear saying the file is created.

If the email option is installed the user will be prompted to send an email. If it is to be sent, follow the prompts.
