Setup Network Search Path

PDF Filer for Point can determine which file is open in Calyx Point© on a Local PC or on a Mapped Drive. However, this configuration may not meet each user's needs. To assist in finding the file being accessed additional searches can me made. PDF Filer for Point will read the file name from the open Calyx Point© file and search all of the files the user has access to in their Point profile and all of the files in a file folder hierarchy looking for a file name match to the open file. If using this method and duplicate file names are found the user will be prompted for which one is open.

To setup additional Searches click on "Network Search Path"

Browse to the file UserProfile.ini that the user has access to. This file contains the list that is used in the drop down list in Calyx Point© and is located in a subdirectory of C:WINPOINT.

Browse to the root folder that contains all of the Calyx Point© files. PDF filer will search all of the subfolders of this directory looking for a match to the file name that is currently open.

When finished click on "Continue" to save the changes and return to the Main Setup Window.
