TSID Router

TSID Router is a software utility that reads the Transmitting Subscriber ID (TSID) send by a fax machine to a receiving fax machine. The TSID is in the header of a facsimile and it can contain the senders number or name. This header information is read by TSID Router and based upon rules processed. The processing functions include, delivery to a file folder, printer or email address. The user also has the ability to convert the facsimile into a PDF as well.

Any software that receives the facsimiles can be used with TSID Router provided that they leave the header tags in place.

Important:

The Header of the TIFF image must contain the TSID. Some programs remove this information when processing the facsimile. For instance Microsoft Fax leaves the header in place while the facsimile is in the in box, but removes it when saving it to a file. To check the files for TSID information, TSID Router contains a utility that allows the user to view the header information.
