Time spent looking for files is time not spent closing loans. You can now end this waste of time and increase your  number of closed loans. Although more and more files are being transferred electronically they are still being printed and physically moved around and office. It has been this way for years and when a client, manager, processor or underwriter has a question about the file it has to be found. With PDF Filer everyone knows where it is and only those with permission have access to it, this increases productivity and security

It is simple to use. When a file comes in it is usually a fax that has been converted to an email PDF attachment or it has been scanned in with a copier. With the file open the user goes to their client in Point and clicks on an Icon residing on their task bar. At this time they are prompted as to what to do, file a document, retrieve a document, or batch process documents. They select Auto File and are prompted each step of the way until they are presented with the following menu.

Splitting a loan file into sections for addition to document imaging system

This allows the user to split the file into a logical sections. For instance, a PDF arrives and it contains the Application and income documents. Since these need to be separated, the user just enters the page or page range and selects from a drop down list what type of document it is. That is it, a folder is created for the file and the files are placed in the folder. The section names can be standardized or each user can create their own. Now that the document is in the system it is time to retrieve it. The user returns to the client's file in Point and clicks on the Icon again and selects Retrieve File. They are then presented with the following menu.

The user can select one or more sections to open. To open multiple sections, the user presses the Ctrl key while clicking on the sections. Once selected the PDF will open. The user can also create a "Profile" for each lender. The Profile is a specific stacking order. This option allows a user to consistently submit each file to each lender in their stacking order.

Bookmarked PDF Loan File

The loan sections have become book marks in the PDF so that the user can go directly to the section they want.

To keep the price reasonable PDF Filer is sold by the options needed. There are three options available for PDF Filer for Point.

Option one is an email plug in that allows a user to automatically send an email notification to a loan officer or processor when a document arrives. This option would be used only when there is a person that distributes faxes or scans all the incoming mail.

Option two is a scan module. If a user has a copier that scans to a file folder on the network this option is not needed. It is for when a user has a stand alone scanner and is using it to add documents.

Option three is CD Presenter which automatically creates a Custom CD for a client when the loan is closed. The auto run CD will contain a thank you letter, the loan files, links etc., with the client's name and address on it. It is an ideal follow up and reason to solicit more business from a clients friends.

PDF Filer Pricing

PDF Filer is sold per installed Work Station. The Scan Module and eMail Module are not required for it's operation. The Scan Module allows the user to scan documents directly into the system and the eMail Module allows email notifications to be automatically sent when documents are entered into the system allowing for centralized processing.

There is no charge for upgrades. Software comes with 90 days technical support which includes online installation assistance if requested. After 90 days, technical support is $90.00 per hour. Optionally a one year service contract can be purchased at 20% of the retail price of the software.
